Look at�this amazing piece of jewelry. It is a wonderful "William Spratling" reproduction. Some of you might be familiar with�this design, that it's been shown in some Mexican sterling silver jewelry history books. This�bracelet has been made with an excellent workmanship and beautifully finished.

It was made by silversmiths that at some point worked with these famous designers from the "Old Taxco" era. They are older now and even-though they are not well known by the general public, they are still elaborating these gorgeous pieces of jewelry, with the same excellent quality from the original ones.

This�bracelet is solid sturdy silver, with a total of 91.8 grams, (2.9 ounces). Made with 950 sterling silver, better quality silver than the most common 925.�It is also marked with the artist's initials "PAR" This�silver�piece�is in absolutely mint condition.

The silver bracelet is one and seven eighths inch wide in the centerpiece and it has an inside circumference of seven inches.

Handcrafted silver jewelry made in the early 1950's, This is a classic Mexican jewel, crafted in the "Old Taxco" tradition, of course. All the stylistic Aztec symbols shown on this piece, make this a classic Taxco vintage silver jewelry. The centerpiece also shows a nice contrast on that darker background, making the ancient elements stand out and giving the centerpiece an interesting depth. I can also say that this is an incredible artisan work, produced in the golden era of Mexican silver jewelry. This silver medallion also carries the Mexican marks like the eagle figure, with the number "3" as well as the vintage silver chain, that is included on this listing.

This medallion is two and seven eighths inch in diameter (72 mm) and the silver chain is twenty five and a half inches long.

Gorgeous Mexican, adjustable silver ring�in�a classic "Old Taxco" style, with a beautiful�detailed design. This silver jewel shows an amazing artisan work, completely handcrafted and artistically decorated. This ring carries charming figures and elements that make unique jewelry and a very clear fashion statement.
The ring's crown has one strong ethnic element, a Kokopelli dancer. Even though this figure is not entirely of a Mexican origin, is greatly used on so many Mexican designs nowadays. It's a Navajo symbol that some designers from Taxco, find fascinating and use it for their Navajo or hopi style silver jewels.
There's also another element on the centerpiece that really makes this piece of jewelry stands out. The highly polished Turquoise gemstone under the Kokopelli dancer. Very unusual but gorgeous baroque style ring. The whole ring is full of details, put together in a wonderful composition. The crown of the ring�serves as a very artistic�border�for the �frame�that surrounds the beautiful rivoli cut amethyst, right in the centerpiece.�There are two little hearts that join the ring with the crown on the sides. And the ring itself is decorated with a tinny little silver rope and an undulating line. Even on the back of the crown you can find a beautiful decoration. What else can�I say, simply gorgeous. The�ring is in absolutely mint condition.

A collectible piece of� jewelry, amazing bracelet that was handcrafted like most of my jewelry, with impeccable craftsmanship and beautifully finished.
This design is a perfect example of the Old Taxco works, that made Mexican silver jewels so famous around the world. This silver bracelet was designed, according to the markings by Miguel Garc�a Mat�nez and made by Melesio Rodriguez Villalba. It was also made in "Rancho Alegre".
Miguel Garc�a was one of the primary designers at Rancho Alegre. And Melesio R. worked with Margot Van Voorhies Carr for 24 years. He was responsible for the execution of many of the original�Margot's designs. His artist's registry number of "MR." "TR-114" is widely recognized nowadays as one that uses Margot's original molds. He also worked in Rancho Alegre for several years.

The ethnic elements shown on this piece are very artistic and give the bracelet a unique and exotic appearance. All the silver geometric shapes and the turquoise background, make this design a true treasure for collectors of vintage Mexican jewelry out there. This is a wonderful handmade silver jewel, made in the Old Taxco tradition.�

Vintage bracelet. NOT a Reproduction and it carries all the markings that support my statement. The eagle mark has an inside number "3", "MR" Melesio's legal mark, the original mold number "1011" and the "Miguel" hallmark in cursive letters.

This is a very interesting looking silver pendant, due to its unique design. It mixes a colonial and a more contemporary Taxco style, but I think both features work perfectly well together and make a gorgeous handmade silver jewelry.
Some of the nice features on this design, includes the oxidize silver, that not only gives a great contrast but also makes the edge curvy shapes stand out. There's also a good size abalone shell in the centerpiece, in mint condition that just adds more beauty to the whole composition. It's a unique ethnic jewel that make an excellent addition to any ladies fashion accessories. It also can be worn with a nice silver chain or choker, it was handcrafted with solid sterling silver and it is really substantial in weight.

This is one of the greatest ladies fashion accessories, cause it has it all in my opinion. It is a handmade necklace, its design is trendy, decorative, it's substantial in weight and it's beautifully finished.
The wonderful necklace is made by many solid sterling silver circles that are put together on a nice pattern, with three different size hoops, joined in a long thread and the end display shows a very fashionable jewelry accessory. As I mentioned before this silver necklace is substantial in weight with a total of 38.4 grams (1.2 ounces).

The handcrafted silver necklace is three quarters of an inch wide, with an eighteen inches length.
It can also be adjusted to a shorter length, due to the clasp's built.

The hoops are hold together by a silver band, that at the same time holds another smaller set of hoops, used as a hanger. Although the pendant is not a big piece, it is solid, sturdy silver, substantial in weight, with 27 grams. The silver hoops pendant is in absolutely mint condition.

The hoops on the pendant are one and five eighths inch in diameter. (41 mm). It is also two and five eighths inch long.

Handmade necklace that has some of the "old Taxco" features and made in the same tradition too. The design on this jewel took lots of creativity and here is the end result. A unique stylized snake.
The whole piece is worked in such a way, to make it look like full of scales, the metal is carved and it gives a nice decorative look to the whole composition. This design also, has a nice ethnic mixture, that combines some of the Aztecs features, found in ancient architecture and of course, more contemporary elements that can� be found often in jewelry nowadays.
The piece is joined by little hidden bolts, which makes the piece very flexible and comfortable to wear. It is also made with solid sterling silver, that's why its weight is substantial, with a total of 152 grams (4.8 ounces).

The snake's head is the nicest touch, that finishes the design in a very artistic way with a beautiful tongue sticking out of the snake's mouth.
This piece is also marked with the artist's initials, "aja". This piece is in absolutely mint condition.

Gorgeous Silver and multi-gemstone Pin/Pendant. This is a wonderful collectible jewel, that carries a very well known colonial Mexican look. The design on this Pin/Pendant is inspired by the works of "MALT- Matilde Poulat", it's just a nice combination of organic elements that when put together make a amazing piece of jewelry.
This handmade Pin/Pendant is substantial in weight and it carries several Amethyst, turquoise and red coral cabochons, that give life to the drawn, carved creases on the metal. Although the design was thought and created a long time ago, this piece of jewelry makes a contemporary fashion statement, with a unique display of well thought geometric shapes, that show a stylistic silver necklace. The craftsmen involve on the execution of this piece took great care on putting together a real piece of art.

Beautiful, gorgeous necklace, with 9 little malachite rivoli cut stones and 14 little ones. The entire piece shows such an incredible work and detail. The little frames that embrace the stones are simple but very powerful to the eye. In general the whole necklace represents the beauty of�the��"Old Taxco" jewelry, it was handmade with excellent workmanship and beautifully finished. Quite heavy piece, with a total of 101.2 grams (3.2 ounces).
It is not a brand new piece, this one is from the very early 1980's,� it has never been worn and it is in absolutely mint conditon.

This bracelet is sterling silver. I'm sure you've seen this classic Margot's piece before. This one has a nice light multi green color enamel with little details in red color . It is a wonderful design, produced by "Margot de Taxco". It was first introduced in the early 1950's. In 1954 this design won first place in the national silver fair, Celebrated every year in Taxco, Mexico.

This is a precious piece of� jewelry, amazing necklace that was handcrafted like most of my jewelry, with impeccable craftsmanship and beautifully finished.
The design is a perfect example of what Margot de Taxco represents in the Mexican silver jewelry history. Her works always show an enormous interest in ancient cultures' elements and nature in general, this silver necklace has the best of these features.
The ethnic elements shown on this piece are so charming and they capture Margot's soul in such a pure state. There are so many adjectives that can describe her designs and I will always remember people of them, her designer creativity was unlimited and only these words can tell you enough... artistic, trendy, unique, exotic, that's why she's one of my favorite designers from the golden era in the Mexican silver jewelry.
I would like to comment on Melesio Villarreal, whose name is shown in the markings. Most of the jewelry in my store made by Melesio Rodriguez V. is created from original molds, I can't say the same about this piece cause I do not have the marks to back it up, but I can tell you that this cuff is amazing, it was handcrafted like most of my jewelry, with impeccable craftsmanship and beautifully finished.

Taxco 950 Sterling Silver-Sodalite Hammered Cuff (116 grams)

This is a wonderful, heavy, solid and sturdy bracelet, with a total of 116 grams, (3.7 ounces). The front part of the bracelet, is decorated with a couple beautiful details. First, the most interesting one, is the sodalite cabochon, surronded by a gorgeous frame, a floral motif that gives the piece a classic modest look, but very powerful at the same time. There's also a use of repousse work in both sides of the cabochon, that represents six little leaves on each side.

The last detail in which I would like you to pay attention is to the subtle hammer blown work, that gives the piece an uneven surface. I hope you can appreciate this detail in my photos. It is also made with a 950 sterling silver purity, better quality silver, than the most common 925. This piece is in absolutely mint conditon.

The bracelet is one and a half inch wide, at its widest point. It has an inside circumference of wearable length of seven and a half inches and opens an aditional two inches.

It is a classic handcrafted work, created by Taxco's craftsmen. This is a collection piece that every Mexican silver art jewelry lover, should have.

The work on this picture frame is precious, with an artistic display of decorative elements and indigenous details that highlight this folk art at its best. It is also made in he Matl-Matilde style, these kind of work is not find anymore that easily, less and less Mexican craftsmen, work this way nowadays, unfortunately. Vintage Pedro Castillo - Jose Luis Flores Tableware Sets

These are fabulous sterling silver pieces. With gorgeous designs, made by 2 extraordinary master silversmiths from the Old Taxco era. Pedro Castillo, who worked many years with William Spratling, at "Taller de las Delicias" and later on, formed his own silver workshop and created many more unforgettable designs that have transcend time and borders. Where his work is very well known between Mexican silver lovers around the world.
The other tableware set I think it's made by Jose Luis Flores, who worked with Hector Aguilar in "Taller la Borda". I cannot tell you for sure, but the pieces, have all the characteristics of Hector Aguilar's designs. Jose Luis Flores kept working even when Hector Aguilar passed away and he kept making these gorgeous pieces with the same quality and excellent workmanship from the ones made in the Old Taxco golden era.
These items too, had been cleaned, but you still can find some remains of the original patina in the crevices.

These tableware sets are solid sterling silver, each set is for 2 people. The blade's on the knives are stainless steel. They were entirely handcrafted more than 40 years ago, with excellent workmanship and beautifully finished.�The Pedro Castillo set has a total weight of
