These pieces are shown here only as a reference for the evolution of what Avila Sterling represents and unfortunately some of this jewelry is not available for sale anymore, but some other pieces are. We have all kinds of styles and looks, like ethnic, Mexican Vintage jewelry, Baroque, Classic, Modern, more conservative styles, Navajo and much more. We also have a wide variety of elements that are used to create unique pieces of jewelry, like gemstones, colorful enamel, brass, silver-plated, leather, rubber etc.
We can't forget to mention, the great masters from the golden era of silver jewelry in Mexico, like Margot de Taxco, Héctor Aguilar, William Spratling y los Ballesteros among others.
Some of these pieces are vintage (original) and others had been made recently, but they were created from the same molds used between 1930 and 1950; some others, are reproductions made by the same skilled silversmiths, that at some point in time worked with these great designers, mentioned above. Even now, despite of being senior citizens, they keep creating these exceptional works of art.
Many of them are unknown by the general public, but their creations keep taking our breaths away. The great majority of our pieces, are handcrafted and as you can see, they are also made with the best jewelry manufacture. These people are experts silversmiths, that through generations had learned the beautiful silver craft creation.
All these pieces of jewelry exhibit here, were created with the magic hands that have inherited through decades of experience, an incomparable love for Mexican craftsmanship and the passion for beauty and perfection; characteristics that in the silver international market, are widely known to be part of Taxco, Mexico.
