Silver 925
Jewelry from Taxco, Mexico.

Please read this description carefully. It will contain the information associating this magnificent piece of jewelry with the man who was responsible for the execution of so many Margot de Taxco's designs and some other masters from the "Old Taxco era" like this magnificent piece, designed by Hector Aguilar and handmade from the original molds.
Melesio Rodriguez Villalba, who worked with Margot Van Voorhies Carr for 24 years, and now, at his 74 years of age, he continues making these beautiful pieces. His artist's registry number is widely recognized as one of just a handfull masters silversmiths that still work creating these amazing and artistic pieces of jewelry. He's now teaching this incredible art to younger generations of Taxco's silversmiths like his own grandson that now, helps him in the creation of this of jewelry.

Please feel free to contact me for further information on sr. Villalba and his grandson as well as his place in the overall picture of vintage Taxco jewelry.
