This is a unique silver item that in Mexico is still used for stirring cocktails, alcohol beverages etc. Nowadays you see more plastic or glass items like this, they are even some made of colorful glasses and beautifully decorated.
The Vintage sterling silver drink stirrer was handcrafted with a nice workmanship. It is also a vintage silver piece made with the Old Taxco features, substantial in weight and beautifully finished, with a pre-hispanic motif on the little spoon tip and joined to the silver stick by a silver lace that goes around and up the stick.
This silver cocktail stirrer was crafted in the mid 1950's, the surface has the original patina and it is also marked with the eagle stamp with the number 3, the words "Sterling 925 Mexico" and the artist's initials "APB".
The Mexican vintage drink stirrer is seven eighths of an inch wide, at its widest point, the little spoon. It is also eight an a half inches long.
